Dominion’s management has extensive experience in oil and gas exploration and production projects in Africa and the rest of the world. The Directors’ leadership is supplemented by an extensive network of advisors and consultants. Key individuals include:

Dr. Ron Bain                                                                                                                   Corporate Advisor (London & Regional)
From 2008 to present, Dr. Bain has served in a consulting capacity as chief operating officer and corporate advisor to several domestic and international E&P companies. From 2004 through 2008, Dr. Bain was Corporate Exploration Advisor and Vice President of Geosciences of Houston-based Endeavour International Corporation, an exploration and development company with a North Sea focus. From 1983 through 2001, Dr. Bain held numerous management positions in technology and exploration, in both US and international exploration, at Anadarko Petroleum. Dr. Bain entered the industry in 1974 as a research geophysicist with Gulf Oil. Dr. Bain currently serves on the University of Texas Geology Foundation Advisory Council.
Dr. Bain holds Bachelor of Science and PhD degrees in Physics from the University of Texas at Austin and a Master of Science degree in Physics from the University of Pittsburgh.

Vahid Farzad
Commercial Director
Before joining Dominion, Vahid was a member of the Senior Management Team at Salamander Energy and held a number of business development and commercial roles over five years seeing the company through start-up, to IPO, to full cycle E&P and constituent of the FTSE 250 Index. Before Salamander, he worked at Goldman Sachs in Corporate Finance and Mergers & Acquisitions. Vahid holds an MA from Oxford University, an MSc from the London School of Economics and an MBA from INSEAD.

David Garland
General Counsel and Secretary
Before joining Dominion in February 2007 he had practiced as a barrister for 18 years from Brick Court Chambers, the preeminent commercial barristers chambers in London, where his practice included advising on and drafting commercial, insurance, corporate, banking and crossborder agreements and litigating disputes in those areas.

Ahmad Gulamali
Financial Controller
Ahmad has a BSc (Hons) from Oxford Brookes University and is a Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). Prior to Joining Dominion in 2008, he worked for Grant Thornton as an Audit Manager. He is based in Tanzania and provides support to the regional offices from the Tanzania office.

Robert Spence
General Manager
Robert has a BA from the University of Calgary and is presently working on his MBA from Henley Business School. Mr. Spence has spent the last 30 years in geophysical operations in North America, Central America and Africa. Prior to being a founding member of Dominion Petroleum Ltd, Robert was on the Board of Directors of East Coast Energy and consulted for Pan African Energy, Paladin Resources, Dublin International Petroleum Ltd, and Ndovu Resources in Tanzania where he has resided for the past 13 years. Robert is presently a Director and General Manager of Dominion Oil & Gas Ltd and Dominion Tanzania Ltd.

Anthony Knaggs
General Manager
A Permanent Resident of Uganda (since 1986), Anthony has extensive experience in shipping, trading and logistics. Previously he was involved in shipping and logistics in the Middle and Far East including the oil industry. Anthony joined Dominion in August 2007.
