Cautionary note to US investors

The US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) permits oil and gas companies, in their filings with the SEC, to disclose only the proved reserves that the company has demonstrated by actual production or conclusive information tests to be economically and legally producible under existing economic and operating conditions.  From time to time Dominion uses certain terms on this website such as “proved plus probable reserves”, “probable reserves”, “estimated recoverable reserves”, “risked exploration” and other similar expressions that include probable reserves estimates which are prepared on a basis consistent with the guidelines of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) and the World Petroleum Council (WPC) and are not consistent with SEC guidelines.
